If I'm posting this in the wrong place, please move it mods. Didn't seem suitable in Parts for sale as I'm advertising a garage sale.

Rick's Garage Sale Open Day - Saturday 8th January 2011 10am-4pm - Park Farm Estate, Standlake Road, Northmoor, Oxfordshire OX29 5AZ

I'm going to be having an open day in the new year where now that a couple of my cars have now found new homes, I'm intending to pretty much clear out the rest of my manta spares and even have a Manta 1.8S hatch which can have bits taken off as required. I shall be looking to clear most items that day so you can pick up a bargain, but remember it's a first come first serve basis. Most of the stuff I have are standard items so please don't expect rally or 400 type items, but I have some featured stuff as listed below. In the event of a massive snow out I would obviously rearrange but would give notice and you can call me to confirm, hopefully it'll be a nice day and if not I have a modest marquee up now (if it survives that long) and will have my generator fired up so I can offer warm drinks.

A mint set of Recaro's in Black daytona check in black for a hatch

A near mint set of Ronal GTE alloys, silver with next to new bfgoodrich tyres

A Getrag 1.8 gearbox from a 95k car in excellent order

A 1.8 sump and pipe kit and other 1.8 engine parts

A hatch injection fuel tank in good order

Wings, glass, doors and trim

Lights, clocks and boxes of loose interior bits

.....and more

I'm just drumming up some interest, but I'll be there even if I'm only expecting one person, you're more than welcome to just come along for a look, no obligation on anything.

Yeah, a few of our drivers at work have been stuck out. Three lanes gridlocked and a tachograph telling you to pull in as you're out of driving hours! I've been lucky here (South Midlands) only three days of snow so far, it's mainly sheet ice making us do a vehiclar swan lake

I'm only in Milton Keynes so not far from you so I may well come over and see what you have.

You're more than welcome. I'll sort out some directions closer to the time as I'm a bit hard to find without shat-nav.

I hope you can forgive this cheeky bump! I've just relisted my ebay advert so thought to do the same here.

The weather's looking better for the weekend, but that didn't stop the snow collapsing my marquee  . With any luck I maybe able to manage another erection  but if not I'll just hope it doesn't rain too much. I'll have some crap tools on standby if anyone's after bits off my 1.8, but you're welcome to bring your own.

Possible PX's: I didn't mention it on ebay as there are rather a lot of silly sods who get the wrong idea, but for my new enterprise I'm after a Nintendo Entertainment System and the later Super NES, games for those as well as sega megadrive games and original playstation games, also 13"-15" LCD TV's or monitors which can be part or fully exchanged for anything I have, in fact pretty much any pre 1997 video game related stuff could be of interest.

You can give me a call or text if you wish to check everything is going ahead or to enquire, 07809 329211. Thanks, Rick.

^ oooh! I'm definately interested in any of that, thanks.

good to see some people getting erections on this site after all we all must be in our 40s nowrolleyes.gifhappy new year m8

Actually I couldn't manage one, my shaft was all bent in the middle! So there's no marquee anymore so please bring an umbrella :( What's worse is that as the whole site is closing down there are gypos who keep scavanging the scrap metal and such, so I hope there's something left to sell by the weekend  I'm on early shift at work this week so at least I can get down there each afternoon to check.

I have a Sega Megadrive + Games, a Nintento SNES (if I can find it) + games and a Dreamcaste + Games (also if I can find) if they are of interest. Plus I also have a 15" LCD Monitor if you are interested?

Also I will definatly be coming over at the weekend. SO if you could post some directions that would be helpfull. I know the Witney/Eynesham area fairly well (If I remeber correctly some you know spotted me in my Manta in Witney a few years ago). But i'm not 100% sure where your place is.

^ I have one too many Megadrives but deffo the games for it, yes please to the snes and the monitor if it's cheap, the Dreamcast is too modern for my new enterprise but thanks.

My yard is a few miles away from Witney. If you're coming down the A40 then you can cut across Eynsham, when you pass the Total garage which is next to a motorbike clothes place just before the Eynsham rounabout on the A40, take the 1st exit signposted Stanton Harcourt then continue over a couple of smaller roundabouts straight ahead then 1st exit on the 3rd roundabout (still following stanton harcourt) This is through the Enysham industrial estate, then you're on a long straight road, follow it round, through a village called Sutton, then 1st exit of the next roundabout into stanton harcourt. Drive straight through the village and follow this B road for a couple of miles without taking any of the junctions until you see a crudley made sign saying MANTA SALE or something like that.

You can get a mini map off some of the route planners, postcode is OX29 5AZ. I did try to copy one as a jpeg just now but the site won't let me  . I'm surprised how many people find the place okay, but it is a bit out in the middle of nowhere.

I'll look forward to seeing whoever's popping along saturday, I'll be there 10am - 4pm. Thanks.

^ I do have one in my collection but only with the burnin' rubber game that they were sold with in 1990, if you've got any other games then they're worth a bit £15-£30 depending on what they are. The console only would still be of interest though. Thanks.

Yes, and a big thank you from me to everyone that came down and for your purchases. It was certainly a lot easier to close the garage door afterwards (my GTE certainly appreciated it's extra living space  ) The weather couldn't have been better either and it was nice to meet some more manta enthusiasts. I hope some of the bits of bobs come to good use or at least give you the confidence of just having a spare should something go wrong with your original.

Thanks again, Rick.
