TJM
Hello I have been approached recently about making some more 5 stud hubs for the Manta/Kadett/Chevette. How many are interested in these, last time I made these they came out at £150 (but would have to confirm with machinist again) a pair and could be tailered to suit your PCD and Spigot diamterer size. I need 7 orders (14 hubs) to make this viable. Please post your interest with required specs below. Regards Tim I already have 1 set required for: Jamie - 5 x 114.3mm (4.5"). manta356
I'd be interested in a Set of 5 x 120 pcd (a la 400),I'll have to get back to you about the centre bore size. Thanks Paddy I just picked up on this from a thread last year about rear 5 stud conversion.Did you ever get any of these made or is there any interest in getting some made. "Remember the hub attachment for knock-on / knock-off wheels on Triumphs, Midgets and Jags? Can't be bothered to draw it but basic idea would be to have something like the above but thicker to allow proper nuts on short studs so about an inch thick and no central hole but with a spigott on the outside to fit BMW wheels and back bored to allow the Manta half shaft spigott to centrally locate. Then a BMW rear disk drops over the BMW / Manta 120 PCD. All those moans people used to have about the Escort rear disks dissappear as there is positive location onto the half shaft and for the disks and wheels. What do you think?" TJM
Hi Just looking to do the hubs at the moment. Regards Tim
TJM
Hello to all So we have 3 orders as above: Jamie - 5 x 114.3mm (4.5"). Paddy - 5 x 120mm centre bore to follow. Walsall86 - 5 x 112mm (maybe to tight if you want the rear disc mounting as standard, will have to confim), centre bore to follow. I am expecting another order for 4 hubs tomorrow. I need 1 more pair to be ordered then I will make up the rest and hold in stock. Price is confirmed at £150 a pair. Studs will also be required at £8.00 for 8 (12mm x 1.5mm pitch). I will need payment in full and then approx 2-3 weeks after to make. P&P to UK Mainland £11.75. Regards Tim
Walsall86
Hi tim I will be using an aftermarket caliper on my hubs so I'm not too worried about the back spacing. Providing you get the required order ammount I can pay next Thursday. Please let me know if that's a problem? Thanks lee
TJM
Hello Lee Are you looking to mount the disc from behind as standard or over the studs at the front? Regards Tim
Walsall86
Over the studs would be best as it gives more flexibility for standard discs thanks
h0tr0dder_uk
I am interested in a set with 5x4.75" pcd. Disc over studs is best for me (is the mounting flange inset more to compensate for disc width?)
TJM
h0tr0dder_uk The mounting flange is in standard offset, no change to compensate for disc thickness, is that okay? Do you also require studs with the hubs £10 for 10? Regards Tim

I will be using a brake hat and rotors so can probably mount the hat from behind (possibly using the wheels studs to hold it in place). I will most likely use my own studs but will need the bolt pattern drilled. what would it cost to have it drilled for dual bolt patterns?? (just an option) cheers pete
TJM
Pete Dual bolt pattern should be fine, wouldn't expect there to be extra cost involved, just confirm what you need and I will speak with the machinist. Regards Tim
Walsall86
Hi tim just a couple of things regarding my order. Could I have my hubs 5mm shorter so I can mount the discs from the front of the hubs. The centre bore needs to be 66.5mm dia as the wheels are 67mm. The 13mm longer wheel studs will be perfect. The pcd is still 5 x112 think that's all I need. Thanks again Lee
TJM
Lee Is it 5mm shorter on overall width, do you want it removed from the front or rear of the hub? Regards Tim
Walsall86
Front of the hub please. Cheers
TJM
Walsall 86 To confirm the flange will remain in the same place on the hub but 5mm will be removed from the front of the hub where the dust cap sits? If this is yes I will go ahead, let me know asap. Regards Tim
Walsall86
Hi tim the flange will need to move back 5mm if possible so the disc/wheel will mount 5mm towards the centre of the car. Let me know if that causes any issues? Cheers
TJM
Lee and hotrodder I have talked to the machinist and he will move the flange 5mm further back into the hub at no extra charge so happy days. Just need to get everyones payment in now and we can get these started by 12 March 11 and should be finished 2-3 weeks thereafter.
