redroze
I have 1983 B 1800S (ohc) coupe with Varajet carb and I am having trouble finding parts. what other carbs can be fitted to my manta (from which cars)? will I have to replace the intake manifold? cheers, Elad. Brown Job
Varajet carbs are not the best. Try a Weber, should have a kit to bolt straight on without changing the manifold. BJ
Scribe of Lincoln
I had an 1800 hatch on a B plate and swapped the Varajet for a Weber with manual choke and it drove much better. Bolts straight on. Edited March 12, 2011 by Scribe of Lincoln

Brown Job
Weber 32/36 (V or AV depending on aoto or manual choke)for a direct replacement. BJ

Brown Job
Do you know if a 28/30 will also be a firect replacement? I don't know for sure but gut feel says very unlikely. BJ
