durdzz-suzuki-redtop
The loom iv got came from a cavalier, and iv got the engine mounted for a rear wheel drive vehicle. Iv had to bend the loom right back to get it to reach. I was wondering if any other loom of any other vehicle would be longer and more practical to use.
garymanc
if you thread the loom back through the inlet manifold that will take it a bit further back

durdzz-suzuki-redtop
IT runs just had the Lamba sensor short out n melted it's wires and then i want to neaten it up so I can waterproof it. A few pics would b good. We have used the same loom so I can see how you have routed yours. mantasrme
Pretty sure all the XE looms were layed out the same so all have the issue. On mine i removed all the wrapping from the loom then popped the plastic cover from above the injectors and re-routed the wires so they come out at the gearbox end. You can then get them to run through the original ECU wiring hole bellow the servo and around to the drivers A-pillar where the Gt/e ecu normally sits. Much better than having the ecu anywhere in the engine bay. In fact if you have a look at Clives project he did the same http://forums.mantac...n/page__st__120
opel2000
Thanks David was just about to look for that link myself. Only thing is when I did it, it was on a B series that did not have the GTE's hole below the servo, that is why I ran the cables up through the bulkhead near the washer bottle area,
