399Road
PPC Magazine are having their Mallory park car show and track day in May. It's £15 to get in and track day time is £20 for 15 minute sessions. I'm thinking about taking the Ascona and wondered if anyone else is interested? You have to pre book soon though on PPC magazines website. ...Luke. 399Road
I've booked a ticket and four track sessions for the Ascona. It should be a good day out. Is anyone else going?
Retro Power
its a good day out. We're a bit busy with work though I think! if you're in the area though feel free to drop in, we're only 4 miles from mallory ( I live two fields away from the track! )
rutthenut
Thought I'd read about some problems with Mallory Park, possibly no longer remaining open. Do you know any more about this, and whether the PPC event may be affected?
MANTAMAN
Mallory Park are having problems with the Local 'NIMBY'S' they are allowed 96 days running a year but people who almost certainly moved in nearby long after the circuit was built ( Mallory has been there over 50 years ) want it cut, if people dont want noise from a motor racing then dont buy a house next to one. it's currently at the stage of representations to the relavent councils. There is an e-petition you can sign, i have, here's the link - https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/46739
399Road
Ok, so there's three of us going now; Me in the Ascona, Rob in his 16 valved A.series Manta and Darren in his Zetec'd RWD Starlet. I think Nick's on about coming along too with his mate's Simca Rallye.
