DashingKnave
Hello, I have had classic cars since my teens ranging from Austin, Ford, MG to a VW but this is the first time I have ever owned an Opel. I always use the cars as daily drivers. I used to do any work on the cars that was needed (with the help of my Father) but about 5 years or so ago, I developed a debilitating illness and so couldn't continue. At the time I had a 1968 Lancia Fulvia Series A Rallye 1.3 in the garage and for those reasons, it stayed there for nearly 6 years. I saw the Manta advertised about a week ago and decided to go and see it with the idea of making it a rolling restoration and adding a few upgrades to make it a bit more fast fun. It was a good starting point for my 10 year(?) plan so I bought it and it's now in my trusted mechanics garage having some minor brake work done for MOT. Can't wait to drive it properly on the road and start sending money orders for the many parts it doesn't really need. Thanks, Wil

DashingKnave
Thanks guys. I think I'll need the help. I kept all my other classics stock but I want to make this more of a euro hotrod style.
