That... Owen... is a massive project you have on your hands... :o and I am full of admiration for you taking it on :D !

This is going to be really interesting to see how you do..... looking forward to you announcing when it has a new MOT! :)

I see that your front seats have headrests? I wasn't aware that headrests were available at the time for these? Anyone educate me on this?

Hi Owen,

Probably worth going through the parts for sale as there has been a few Mantas been broken recently and may still have the interiors in? Don't know about where to get a 400 kit from, definitely something to list in the parts wanted section. My friend recently got some headlining for his Project Manta from the Hatchback that someone has been breaking but if you don't have any luck then you could look at putting together a parts list that you need for your project and put a topic up in the parts wanted section.

Hope this helps,

Jack.

Hi Owen,

About the 400 kit you want, there is someone called Trevor Lewis who used to do the moulds for the 400 kit, I knew it was Trevor somebody but found out today by reading some older topics. I did read about it today but he still does the moulds (I think) and at one point he was getting back into Mantas but again not sure whether that was recently or not. Hope this bit of information can get you one step closer to that 400 kit. At least you now have a name of which to go by, I think a good thing you can do is to post a topic in the parts wanted thread and ask in the thread if Trevor Lewis still for definite does the 400 kits and maybe he could source you one?

After writing that I now remember what I read earlier. What I read earlier is that Trevor no longer had the moulds of the 400 kits to make out of fibreglass but he still does fiberglass work.

Hope some of this helped but definitely get a topic up if you can.

Cheers,

Jack.
