NEIL W
Christmas is coming but don't think either will be in my stocking One at £66,000 & the other just as bad at £145 http://www.pure-classics.de/fahrzeugangebot/opel-manta-400 http://www.ebay.de/itm/Opel-Manta-B-400-Umbau-Tuning-1-18-Youngtimer-KL-BBS-echt-Alufelgen-/271633248298?pt=Spielzeugautos&hash=item3f3e9a702a
Julian
The premium to insure a classic these days depends on if you have the use of another car/vehicle, I pay extra cos I use the Cav as a daily driver, and only do 2,000 miles a year. So this is the answer, Buy these two, one daily driver and one for Billing etc, just think how much money you would save on insurance!!!!! Nice cars though. NEIL W
Julian - I am 6ft 3" tall - bottom 400i is only 1/18 the size of top one so might be a bit small for my legs to get in Insurance point - I know an old chap with 25 classic cars ranging from Rolls Royces to a Morris 1100 all road legal & MOT'd - he pays only £2000 per year for insurance. I asked him how - easy he said - Insurance company know he can only drive one car on the road at a time & the others are insured at 'book' price while in his barn. He was an ex stock broker & this hobby is to keep him busy in retirement so he's no concerned with values. Lucky chap.
outsider
I used to insure my cav and 2 yanks, one year it was down to £195 fully comp, the only draw back to it all is you dont earn no claims discount, but it was great
