The premium to insure a classic these days depends on if you have the use of another car/vehicle, I pay extra cos I use the Cav as a daily driver, and only do 2,000 miles a year.  So this is the answer, Buy these two, one daily driver and one for Billing etc, just think how much money you would save on insurance!!!!!  Nice cars though.

Julian - I am 6ft 3" tall - bottom 400i is only 1/18 the size of top one so might be a bit small for my legs to get in :)

Insurance point - I know an old chap with 25 classic cars ranging from Rolls Royces to a Morris 1100 all road legal & MOT'd  - he pays only £2000 per year for insurance.

I asked him how - easy he said - Insurance company know he can only drive one car on the road at a time & the others are insured at 'book' price while in his barn.

He was an ex stock broker & this hobby is to keep him busy in retirement so he's no concerned with values.

Lucky chap.
