madmantamik
Hi, all question 1- is it possible to install a 16v engine without moving the servo? question 2 if the servo needs to be moved, is it best to use a remote servo or just twin master cylinders question 3 internal pedal box or external pedal box? any thoughts please. Thanks.
garymanc
you don't need to move servo to fit a c20xe engine
MANTAMAN
It is even possible to put quad Webers on a XE and not move the servo The carbs can only have short trumpets and 'sock' filters, the brake fluid reservoir needs moving ( easy to do using a Renault Megane remote reservoir ) and it helps to a recess in the front of the servo itself ( seperate the halfs, weld in the altered section, re-crimp the halfs back together )
mantasrme
As Gary says, if you are using the standard injection then no it doesn't need moving/modifying. With carbs it might, depending on the carb and manifold length/angle. DCOE's will prob need something like Ian suggests, Bike carbs might not (again depending on manifold length)
