turbo16n
LHD Manta A on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361441041598?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
mantaray
Not as rust free as seller says. May not have been welded yet, but it will need welding before an MOT can be pasted.
moodoo
Just curious, is that based on the photos, or have you seen it? I was considering this car as the start of a project, but it really only makes sense if it is indeed rot free!
mantaray
Based on the pictures. It would be worth going to have a look, but : Wheel arch looks a bit cruddy, may just be surface rust but I suspect not. Drivers side ditto. P/S chassis leg, just behind cross member support arm, look a bit suspect This looks like a repair section had been partly fitted to chassis leg It does look a good shell over all and should make a very good starting point, but having owned and worked on Manta A's for over 30 years, I have my suspicions that some of that "surface rust" will go a bit deeper and need replacing. I may be wrong, which is why you need to go and see the car if your thinking of buying it. Edited December 7, 2015 by mantaray
MANTAMAN
This Manta might not be utterly rot free but it is a better starting point than the average UK 'barn find' project Manta. As always the answer is to view it
