akas
Hi All have put my manta sr berlinetta in to get new vinyl roof fitted, it is a hazel bronze colour and on an X so had the saggy type velour interior in beige/gold and plastic bumpers. I have retro fitted chrome bumpers and also a black velour interior from the 79/80 sr berlinettas- ones with faux wood. It occurred to me that the interior roof lining on mine is currently a goldy yellowy colour and whilst the windows are out for the roof I could replace the lining. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE COLOUR OF THEIR SR BERLINETTA HEADLINING/ ROOF LINING IN 1978 to 1980 VERSIONS - I THINK IT WAS AN OFF WHITE PERFORATED? BUT WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF ANYONE CAN CONFIRM OR LET ME KNOW COLOUR OF THEIR EXTERIOR, COLOUR OF THE INTERIOR AND COLOUR OF THEIR ROOF LINING PLEASE- I think they all had black roll over hoop in the lining and black a pillars- please correct me if I’m wrong. This info is required very quickly as car is already at trimmers!, Thanks in advance everyone who can help
Rapierdave
Headlining on SR berlinetta Mantas of that age is normally colour coded to the interior colour of the car. My 1978 Manta SR berlinetta is Polar White with a black vinyl roof, red seats & carpet & red headlining. Your colour headlining in gold/ mustard colour is correct for the period. akas
Thanks Dave, yes I was aware it was correct for the original interior however now I’ve put black velour from a 78-80 and hoped somebody with a black interior could tell me the colour of their headlining- I’m quite sure it’s not black but a white/cream/off white that was the colour I was wanting. I think white would be TOO bright
