adz the stig Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 right i really want a manta redtop. but am i being a tit? like where i live nothing is close! inverness is a 100miles away, all my friends live 6miles away, and my lassie lives 45miles away. i dont have a garage but i do know my way around cars. can they be used as a everyday car kinda of thing but i mostly go out at weekends?? o and i live right next to the sea! If its running on injection it will be easy to drive and economical, mine did around 35mpg on a long motorway run. If you live near the sea just be sure to rust treat the chassis well when you buy one and wash it often (including under arches and sills) Should serve you well for a long time then. Shug Posted July 30, 2010 Share Posted July 30, 2010 Mantas were built for that tarbet road As said, if you take time to do some corrosion prevention with some good quality stuff, no reason it won't last easily.
