mantadoc
so it will be a 2.0? Rocker covers move frequently, look at the start of the engine number sticking out under the second spark plug because sometimes engines migrate too! what gearbox would be needed to fit a c20let,c25xe ect? Short answer, any gearbox but that. Long answer: Manta 1.8 Family II Carlton or Omega boxes Ford Type 9 with adapter bell housing Various others That gearbox with an adapter plate if you can find one or make one. Oh yeah, stick the vacuum pipe back on the fuel pressure reg or mixture will be all over the place.
Shug
The engine code is stamped on the wee sticky out bit under the spark plugs. If its a 2.2 it'll say 22E.
