Alf
That's like asking how long is a piece of string!! So much depends on how it was restored, was it just patched and plated or did it have new panels/sills/chassis legs fitted? Were they patterns or genuine parts, it is painted, does it come with doors, boot and bonnet or just a bare shell? Photos might help but we need a lot more information really? Cheers, Alf. adeadly
True, I'll put photo's up and a list of parts, all parts came from Dr Manta, All the parts are there except the running gear.

garymanc
you need to upload the image to a web based host service, such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.uploadit.org to name but two. You'll need to register first but both are free for simple image hosting, though you can upgrade to do other things for a small fee. Once registered you can begin uploading images Note the "URL" box with it's text (highlighted). Copy this text (left click and drag to select all the text, right click -> copy or CTRL-C). In Uploadit, you get a list. Click the list and copy the http address from the new window. On to the forum, you have two options. You can simply paste the http address and post a link to your picture. Anyone who wants to see it will need to click the address. This is good if you want to post a lot of images If you want to display the actual image, use the "img" tags: http://premium1.uplo...hotobucket4.JPG That's all there is to it. As you may have figured, you don't actually post a picture but point the forum software to a net address which it converts into an actual picture. Hope this helps. mantaray
Well done on what you have achived, that is now a nice solid shell. However there is still a lot of welding work that need doing to finish it off ready for paint. All the arears where you have repaired a panal need to be seam welded, in the pics you have only welded every 5cm or so, all thies welds need to be joined up. So by going on your pics, I would say that it is a part finished shell, a solid shell, but still part finished. As for price, for the shell on it's own with no doors ect. I would hope to get around the Grand mark £1000, finish off the welding and I'd be looking for around £1500. But having said that, anyone interested in buying it would need to have a doner car so your market is small, and so you may not get top dollor for it. adeadly
Thanks, Didn't want to do the full seam weld, thought it might warp the panels, thought that was the way it was done. What kind of additional support would you put in if you were to run 220bhp.
Ed Parkinson
sure theres people with rotten shells that would jump at the chance for a new start
adeadly
should I do the full seam weld then, or will it be strong enough the way it is. Edited September 21, 2012 by adeadly

611
Don't think i would be too happy rocking round in it with 220bhp! without it seam welded. The old A series has a bit of flex even if they are rock solid :-)
