Autocrosser
Looking for a carb or throttle body set up for a c20xe. Would consider carbs or throttle bodies on there own but ideally a complete kit.
rutts
bike carbs are easier bogg brothers (yamaha R1 or kawasaki ZZR) with an astra gte mk1 dizzy. or twin 40-45 depending on what you are using it for
Autocrosser
I had considered bike carbs or throttle bodies but the engine there to go on (in parts for sale) was on 45 webers and basic astra ignition before and it was the ignition side holding it back power wise. I just thought I'd see if anyone had any kits or parts of kits lying around in there garage. It needs at least 45's to breath properly
bones
I have a pair of 45 throttle bodies and manifold for an XE engine if you are interested.
mantasrme
A 38 or 40mm bike carb will flow a whole load better than a 45 weber If the ignition side was holding it back i'd be looking at a mappable ignition system like NODIZ or Emerald and either keeping the 45s or more likely going the bike carb route. You can make a manifold for bike-carbs from an old injection manfold with a bit of work, you need to space the carbs arpart to match but thats not hard if you pick the right carbs.
