Commodore B Bits Wanted - Not The 400 Stuff!

Evening all, I've recently acquired a Commodore B GS/E saloon which has been laid up for a long time but is very saveable. Sadly both the front doors have had it, they're the same as a Rekord D saloon so it's a long shot but if anyone's got any lying about I'd be very interested!

I know what bits for these are like in this country, so I'd consider just about anything anyone might have taking up space. Let me know!

i can give you contact details of a guy in north holland with all the bits you would ever need. he has a unit/garage full of cars for projects and a spares part section upstairs that is 30 metres by 20 metres full of new and used parts. postage would cost a lot but a nice holiday over the channel would easily be worth your while i went and was very impressed with his collection of cars and spares he stocks. new doors hoses engines gearboxes axles interior everything really. he also comes to billing most years so might deliver if you can wait.

Own a Commodore B GSE Coupe myself,Nice to hear of someone else who's got a commodore. The only spare ive got for a Commodore is a cylinder head!Spares are hard to come by in uk.The best place is german ebay theres some doors on there now.The only person i know who has any spares is Mark Ayres at Gloucester, might be able to find his number somewhere.Autobahnstormers might be worth joining.

Thanks for the replies chaps! Rutts, that sounds excellent, always helpful to have contacts like that, especially if he can bring stuff to Billing. The car's a long term project so I'm not in any rush for anything, just thought I'd get a feel for what sort of parts were available if any!

turbo16n - mechanical stuff doesn't worry me, my dad's had dozens of Senators and Monzas over the years so if the engine's past it (which I doubt, they're bombproof) then it'll probably just end up with a 3.0 Senator engine on the later injection. Been a member of the Autobahnstormers in the past, think it's time to renew membership there, but if you can find any details for Mark Ayres I'd appreciate it, thanks!
