Hi went to to fit the 1800 sump to my let engine and the drip tray touches the inside of the sump can i run it without it or do i need a different one? Cheers chris

Two gaskets are needed, one is just a gasket and the other is a metal windage tray with a gasket on one side, you trim the windage tray where it hits and then bolt the whole lot up.

GOT to be GM, don't use pattern part or it will leak.

You need an 1800 one to reach into the bottom of the 1800 sump

If you can't find one the LET one can be modified, infact Retropower offer that service on an exchange basis
