Gte Coupe Exclusive

I am thinking of selling my Gte coupe exclusive (Ascona front end). I don't get the time to use it and when i do it takes me that long to wash and dry it that i avoid taking it out. This isn't what i want from a fun car as i like to drive them hard.

The car it white, rust free and has 5 spoke revolutions, long tax and test, I removed the problematic sunroof last summer and have a clio glass roof that looks nice but the roof lining was a tad short to finish tight (15mm).

There is pictures on the site but i don't know how to upload them as my son normally does this for me but i haven't told him my plan yet and he will be pissed with me.

I have probably missed lots out but i can answer any questions you want answered.

I am looking for offers around £4500.

You don't need to buy clear indicator lenses, just open up the headlights (clips at the rear) and remove the orange lenses. Then buy silver bulbs that flash orange. Easy as that, don't buy orange bulbs because i think they look bad.

This isn't for sale now, after spending the day cleaning it i have realized it was just the lack of use and a huffy day on my part.

I have spoken to my son and i am selling my Golf GTi Turbo because i use that even less and it cost more to sit doing nothing.

Sorry to waste anybody's time. Male menopause.

Cheers

Raymond.

Good man. Thats a pint I owe you as I nearly bought a set of clear lenses for 120 bangers on german ebay lol. How much was your lamp bracket If you dont mind me asking?

Cheers.

Scott.

The lamp bracket was made from 2 old bumper mounts and some steel i had in the shed, took me a weekend to get it how i wanted it then painted it. I didn't want to drill hoes in the front of the car after i got it painted. The lights are secondhand from an old ford and are wired to the high beam, this was easy because the car had the twin lights already so only one wire to connect per side.

Cheers

Raymond
