coupeking
Can somebody tell me how to remove the head restraints from Recaro GTE exclusive seats? I've tried pushing down, in, up on every part of the bloody seat without a hint of it coming out. Been on you tube but the demo seems to be on a slightly different Recaro to the GTE seat. Thanks. Sutty2006
Without moving my landrover, unlocking the garage and pulling the car out, i cant quite remember lol. Are there any grey round blocks where the headrest poles go into the seat? If there is, there will be a clip in there that you need to push in, or pull out to release the headrest. coupeking
Thanks for a reply Steve. Obviously not a topic many know about in the club. I'll take a look under the plastic washers on the poles to see what there is but couldn't see much earlier.
Sutty2006
Have a good look at those plastic washers. You might have to push a tab in on that washer..... keep us updated
gt/e paul
from what I remember its a real pig and the middle part of the seat has to be removed as they are held in with r clips .
coupeking
There doesn't seem to be any tab near the washer. I rather think it's going to be the 'real pig' of a job reply. Cheers.
