Drum Brake Adjusters

After soaking in deox, the adjusters (early type manual adjustment) on my Manta B/C are still seized solid and now all the hex heads are worse than ever!

Can you change these or do I need to get new backplates?

Thanks

Get the wallet out Emyr, I failed years ago to try and get new snails, nothing doing.I do know of one lad who welded nuts on the end of the wrecked hexigens, don't know what the outcome was. cos changing back plates means pulling the shafts out :o

Pulling the half shafts out are no problem, as I've only just put the backplate back on.  I'll try welding some nuts on as I can't see new backplates being available for a reasonable price.
