So far I have:

All glass out (apart form font)

All doors stripped

Interior totally stripped out (only half dash left)

Fuel tank out

God dam kit off

Wings off

Not mass amount of work but need to drop axles / engine out this week or at least I plan too... depending on how easy it is?!?!?! LOL

Need it in shell form so I can get her off to the blasters to be taken back to bones.

Located a C20LET full rebuild with fordged pistons ect running around 280BHP on half boost.

New buckets

New digital dash

New deep dish alloys..

New Grinder LSD

New some help with the 400 kit location?! Anybody know of a good supplier??

Also need some really good stopping power,.,. any body got any recomendations??

and pics will follow... Plan was to get to Billing 2015 but not sure at present lol.

Hows everone else going with there projects??

For kit you can try lepo5 via forum or rally tech. I can not tell you which is best but I hear good reports in both cases. Best do your own research and decide yourself who to go with.

Be interesting to see if you can turn it round for billing, most of us start with a timescale that always extends further than envisaged.

What condition are your swan neck chassis sections etc? Usually need a weldathon before your ready for kitting!

Let's see those pictures Asaph

You wouldnt belive how good condtion it is in.

Its already been pulled to the bone and reput together to an ok standard. There are no issuse areas as such.

But to be fair once I get it blasted I will see abit better.

I honestley kid you not it is in such tidy condition... not rot to inner wings or cils once kit was off and yes I cut a hole to test :)

I'll try these guys for kits / prices etc cheers Kev.

Billing 2016? ahah

Didnt manage to get the engine out or axle off :(

But did manage to build a dolly... and... and ,.. bought a manta spit turn off ebay! £50!! for a purpose built manta shell turn. How awesome is that.

The dude had a Manta hatch, fabricated independant rear suspension from a Jag, going to run a c20let with the aim at 450-500 ponys with m3 gear box.

Is no sun roof on an A odd?

No they were made standard later so theres less chance of an A reg having one unless someone ordered it with one :) Better quality steel than the later ones too although the very early b's were the best in that respect. I actually saw your car in the metal and stonechip (Lots of it i think the bloke even coated his wife in it :P ) when i visited the last owner last year for some parts nice old guy his workshop was like an aladdins cave of stuff and looks a pretty good shell too :thumbup
