Volksdevil
Came across this in my search for a 400R. Not suitable for me, but I wonder how far gone it is... http://www.gumtree.com/p/opel/1988-opel-manta-gte-2.0l-white/1124141801
Shug
Any manta is saveable, its just a matter of time and money. Lots and lots of both. I rather suspect that'll have an unhealthy amount of rot in it if its been sat 18 years, and judging by some of the panels. Need to see chassis to see how bad it is tho. Danny D114BCW
It's sold now so god only knows what's going to happen to it.
Jack
18 years is incredibly long to be sat there, maybe it got bought for parts? If by some miracle it did get a restoration that WOULD be a project thread worth a read.

MANTAMAN
Cost of time is free The point i was making is if you have not got the time to do four restorations you can not buy the time.

MANTAMAN
Just do when no jobs in From this last statement i take it that your 'in the trade' with the correct tools and facilities it makes a restoration much easier
