Julian
I'm back to locks & keys again,, I don't have a spare key for my door lock, so what are the chances of someone having a key with 105 stamped on it, I have about nine keys from past cars, but not one with 105 on, whether there were any cars with the same locks I don't know, but if there was I thought that maybe one of you guys has one hanging on a nail somewhere!!! H-400
Hallo Julian, the "105" is the profile of the metal blade of the key. I've got several "105"s, and some are different grinded, so you need a non grinded key with the profile "105". On my spare key hangs a black plastic strip with the original number of the grinding. On a lot of Oldtimer-meetings you'll find someone that is specialised in car-keys.
moodoo
Hi Julian, I got a spare ignition key cut earlier this year for my A-series. The original has 105 stamped on it, and I found out that the original blank was the same as this: https://www.charlesbirch.com/p-10814-silca-hu25r-orion-hf20l.aspx So I was able to get one cut. If I remember right there are different versions of the 105 though, not all 'opel 105' key blanks looked like mine, that same key number is used all the way up to a Vectra. If you do a web search for 'opel 105 key blank' or something similar, you might be able to compare a picture to your existing key. HTH.
