Monaco Blue
This one doesn't look as bad as some. Lovely colour: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-cavalier-GL-sports-hatch/222789285652?hash=item33df46b714:g:URgAAOSwjytaVOUI
Rapierdave
Looks a good "barn" find imo, it's a late one to being registered in May 1981. Looking up its history on the DLA website the tax ran out in May 1997 so its been off the road for 20 years. Recommissioned with welding done & a new MOT it could be worth around £2K, fully restored with seats done & paint issues sorted it could be worth around £4K Is it my eyes or does it appear to have a webasto sunroof fitted or is it a factory roof sealed up with tape ? It certainly looks like one of the roll back Webasto type sunroofs. It's a pity about the front seats, more so as the rear seat looks really good. MANTAMAN
The winning bid was £1240. like all MK 1 Cavs and Mantas it depends on what the underside is like, a bot of poking and it might need new sills, jacking points, chassie rails etc, without checking out just what condition it is in it's to tell what price to put on it, but if there is not much work needed then at this price perhaps its a bargin.
