Opels
Does a Opel Omega engine fit in a manta? And what other engines would be good? Edited May 26, 2020 by Opels

Np - funnily enough my First manta was when I was 17, 1month before I turned18 though - did a straight swap for a Kadett C 1.2s it’s virtually the same as the the c20xe conversion, that is well documented on these forums, key words are Redtop and c20xe. Manta 1.8 parts, sump, engine mounts, gearbox & propshaft will make it the simplest of getting the engine sat in there. Then it’s Fueling etc. Twin Webber with a Nodiz electronic ignition would very straightforward for fueling etc. But it all depends what model Nanta you start out with. Pro’s and Con’s to each. Take a read of these. https://mantaclub.org/forums/topic/40807-red-top-conversion-help/?tab=comments#comment-284198

It does fit but it's a little more work than the 20XE as stated. Definitely worth it though.
