Jonathan Pounsett
Thanks David, I never thought to search “rotisserie” 🤦 I’ve measured up my garage now and I don’t actually have enough space - I’ll have to come up with another plan. ®evo03
They are quite deceptive, manta lifted is about 4ft of the ground at centre of front nose cone, car can do a full rotate, but it is tight, How im ever gonna get it down on my own!
stumpy
so youd need a minimum of say 6.ft 6 or there abouts head height

How high is your garage roof beams? you might be able to make one that lets you turn it onto its side but not fully over. Or make one on wheels and pul it outside to rotate then push back in upside down maybe? 17 hours ago, stumpy said: dont know whats happened there i cant see the reply ,,,,,, but would it be an idea to add the height on you garage roof/beams so people know the minimim height can get away with on the lowestheight pivot spit ..... hope that makes sense My garage that the first/lowest one was used in has 5'11" beams. But the pivot point of that one wasn't right as the shell was top heavy and didn't rotate easily. The pivot point wants to be offset from the mounting bar (like the 2nd jig i made) by about 3 or 4 inches from memory. So i think you could just about get it around in a 6'6" space, but you would need to get the pivot point spot on to stop it hitting the floor/roof.
