Troubled Taff
This is probably an easy one but how do I get the steering wheel off please? Where do the pullers go?
rutts
Puller has two legs that go through the two holes in steering wheel boss. The pulled is around a tenner on eBay makes it an easy job not pulling your back out yanking on steering wheel.
cam.in.head
usually they come off without a puller. never ever needed one in 30 years but theres always an exeption. usually i undo the nut to the last few threads then pulling/rocking the wheel at 9 o clock and 3 o clock works for me. the internal spring is assisting you too ! however if this doesnt work never ever be tempted to use a hammer or any shocks.you will possibly damage the collapsable section or the top bearing/ housing. Mickfrad
I struggled to remove mine so removed the legs on a puller slipped it through and behind the wheel and tightened it onto the centre nut. Popped straight off. I also leave the nut on a few threads.
