C20xe Manta B coolant hose questions

Evening all

Have a c20xe to go in a manta b. Jenvey inlet manifold for twin 45s has the option to use coolant take off here or blank it. Previously this was blanked and so was the coolant takeoff on the rear of the head.

Could anyone point me in the right direction as to what hoses go where. Won't be running standard heater but will be using a smaller one so will need to include hoses for matrix.

Top hose is straightforward

Bottom hose to water pump and if memory serves me right it's a 3 way type hose? Should the inlet manifold be T'd into this and then on to heater matrix and the take off on rear of the head go to other side of the matrix?

JS Performance no longer doing hose kits unless a group buy is organised, typical

Sorry if I confused you all my heads wrecked thinking about it lol

Any info would be gladly appreciated

Just remember you don’t have the expansion tank in the Manta. So it’s rear of block to matrix, the returned into the coolant return to pump.

The manifold feed was for throttle body warming, returning back to expansion tank.
Found a diagram someone made on Cav or Astra forum. I’ll dig it out and add for you in a bit.

I run lower rad pipe to aluminium double T piece (original from 1.8) then into waterpump.

1 from double T goes to heater matrix

2nd from double T goes to inlet manifold (this doesn't heat the throttle body it goes into the head to help the flow through the head)

rear of head to heater matrix

top rad to thermostat

A lot of people don't run the one into the manifold/head and report no issues with their engines. But i believe it was designed to be there for a reason so i run it.
