JonnyD
The headlights in my manta b are not working (mechanic friend says bad ground) and I was going to buy a set or replacement lights. Found ones on eBay from Germany but the rear connections are different so obviously did not purchase. Anyone have a source for buying these local ? thanks
Sutty2006
Don’t buy anything from abroad because it’ll have incorrect beam pattern. Do a search on eBay for 5 and 3/4 headlights, but make sure you can see the mounting points in the pictures as some on there are different. Jessopia74
You can repair for sure. The whole alloy housing can be earthed anywhere that gives a good contact. You could drill a hole into the housing and use a ring terminal with a small nut and bolt as an example. (M4 would be about right), just remember that the oxidation needs to be cleaned off too.
cam.in.head
absolutely yes. if you have a good set of lamps with good reflectors theres no need to replace them. as instructed above ,just clean everything up and re earth them.
