orm09
On ebay item no. 220494598297 says it can only be broken for parts.seems a pity as it looks pretty solid.
rayman
That is one serious shame to break something that is so complete
Andy18s
If a certificate of destruction has been issued,as in the wonderful scrappage scheme, then thats it as far using the car on the road. However,it is possible and legal to sell off any or all the parts from the vehicle. It's up to the breakers yard which issues the c.o.d as to which cars are offered up as spares doners. This months Total Vauxhall has a feature on this. Andy
manta400john
"OVERALL CONDITION IS VERY GOOD AND THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT.." This could be good car for someone with a shed of a hatch which has a vin plate and a V5....if you catch my drift This would save it from the scrappage scam. John. Rapierdave
Looks from the under bonnet picture that this car was Zeibart rustproofed from new, that probably means that the body shell will be in very good condition.
Cavtastic
Looks from the under bonnet picture that this car was Zeibart rustproofed from new, that probably means that the body shell will be in very good condition. Not to sure on this Zeibart stuff, if it wasn't applied correctly it just blocked the drain holes up and accelerated the box section corrosion. I broke a Ziebarted Cortina Ghia many years ago and it was rotten in the few places they didn't rust! along with the normal Cortina favorites
