Bmw Power?

I fitted a 6 cylinder BMW engine from a 5 series into my A Series about 7 year's ago. I kept the original BMW gearbox with hydraulic clutch and had to have a prop converted by RECO-PROP ( only cost £110 ). I had to cut a lot of the nosecone metal out and build a frame from box section to keep the strength in that area. To be honest, considering the amount of work it took to fit it properly, I wasn't impressed with the power and so opted for the Senator 24v straight six after.

I would stick to Opel/Vauxhall engines, ie 24v straight 6 or 3.2 V6....both have more power than a basic Rover engine, unless you want to go for an M3 engine!! on second thoughts I beat a few of these on the road with my turbo'd CIH....
