entwistlecymru
1977 Opel Manta SR Berlinetta coupe in Polar white with black vinyl roof and red velour interior. Two previous owners - husband and wife. The car has been fully restored by me over the last 2.5 years to concourse condition. Work includes: Body + paintwork: Not a trace of welding done or needed, bare shell respray in PPG Deltron paint (as used by Rolls Royce) including underneath all in Polar white. Wheels refurbished using correct colour codes. All chrome work is new - £1000 on its own. Vinyl roof is original and in excellent condition. Brand new correct shrouded headlamps fitted (£200 each!), glass is all original and etched with reg number, correct raised lettering number plates fitted along with uber rare early-style passenger side mirror. Engine: Engine stripped and inspected. Unleaded conversion, new Weber 32/36 under standard air filter housing, GT/E electronic ignition, Longlife S/S exhaust system (quiet!) Transmission: converted to 5 speed manual from 3 speed auto, gearbox rebuilt, shortened shifter fitted to look like a 4 speed lever from inside, LUK clutch. 3:44 Diff. Brakes: New calipers, discs, pads, drums, shoes, cylinders, Goodridge flexi hoses, copper solid lines fitted throughout. Steering and Suspension: Track rod ends, ball joints, steering rack all new. Spax springs and Boge gas shocks. Interior: standard blood red velour in excellent condition with no wear or fading. Correct 6 clock dash without trip meter, never had a radio fitted, GM-style mats are in a local trimmers being made from a pattern. Dynamat used in place of most original sound deadening. Boot is as clean as the interior including matching spare (all wheels have new period correct Michelins), original tool kit in its vinyl bag. The car has just flown its first MOT since 1989 and I have been using it daily without fault. It is taxed until the autumn. I have many new and rare spares which I will include with the car - original GM front and rear fog lamp kits, original GM side repeater kit, original GM front spoiler (as fitted to later SRB's), a spare cylinder head and some other engine parts, some red interior spares and alloy window surrounds. If the car isn't sold by July it will be available for viewing at Billing on the OMOC field. Please call 07841 043101 for more details on what is without doubt one of the cleanest early Mantas in existence! http://s50.photobucket.com/albums/f350/entwistlecymru/Manta%20SR%20Berlinetta/

entwistlecymru
Thanks for the compliments Daz and Dave Price is £5495ono as Dave said though I would consider a P/X with cash my way on a good GT/E hatch, preferably and early white one with check interior but I am open to suggestions!
