TJM
Hello Let me check tomorrow, but I have an engine (will need strip and check/rebuild, even though a good runner when taken out the Astra Mk2 GTE 16V has been sat for a number of years) and think I have the following: 1800 Sump (Secondhand), with pickup pipe and dipstick 7 Degree inlet manifold (NOS) 7 degree type 9 bellhousing (with bolts) (NOS) XE chassis mounting kit (NOS) or Manta 1800 mounts. Engine mount bobbins (38 mm thickness) jenvey throttle bodies (Secondhand) Can supply new Ashley 4-2-1 Manifold if required. Once I know what I have got I will put a price on it. peter evans
hi tim 1) as far as the engine goes does it need rebuild or is it ready to fit ? 2) the other thing is ive got a fluid clutch how do i get round this as the 1800 manta box is a cable type? but very interested in buying from you thanks peter
TJM
Hello Peter I would advise a rebuild as it has been sat for sometime. Clutch wise, you could make a bracket and mount a slave cylinder (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=rover+clutch+slave+cylinder) to actuate the arm or even adapt a hydraulic release bearing such as Saab, Mondeo etc. Regards Tim
