611
As the title suggest, anyone got any advice on the best stuff to use on the wiring loom? Last time i used that plastic spiral stuff, but find it very stiff and not that flexible. I found this while googleing: http://www.cablecraft.co.uk/protect/cable-sleeving-protection/wrappasleeve.html any thoughts? Andy
stradacab
Lay your loom out and use self amalgamating wrap like the manufacturers (and I) do. It's the simplest and prettiest way to do it. a google will find you some easily
611
Thanks for the info, the loom is still in the car (the only bit i wont have removed on it :-) and i didnt want to have to take it out, so just wondered if i could get something to just wrap wround it in place? mantasrme
I use convoluted tubing with a split down the side, easy to fit over the wiring in situ and the wiring can be accessed through the split if you need to test/replace/add a wire. Available in all sorts of sizes and you can even buy different junctions for joining the runs together or just use insulation tape. Also it can be removed and reused,
