1900SR
Relocate the meet to the rally as a one off?
upk
Hope to be out on this in the mk2 escort! But it's only scruteneering on Friday night! No special stages! So best is come sat for the full event.

gtwist
Jim Carruthers is seeded no. 50 in his Andrews Heat for Hire 400R I'll be in the Rally Village with the i200 and supporting Jim all the way. Its only a fiver per car and you get a free programme also; or if you walk in on the rally its £3 each great days rallying plenty of rear wheel drive sliding around bends and chicanes. Two 6R4's entered, Darrians and dare I say over 25 Escorts (Mark 1's n 2's n WRC) which provide good entertainment. See you all there who's going? Thanks Geoff

upk
What a great day, despite retiring at stage 7! The rain held off for the most part and the rally village / group B display nd parade stage was a good new addition. A misfire in stage 1 was soon remedied to be followed in stage 2 by fuel starvation, again quickly remedied. Then the troubles really started! Gearbox came loose from bell housing in stage 3 so a temporary fix enabled us to return a quick time in stage 4. Got to hand it to the service boys as the box came off, repaired and refitted before stage 5 Half way into 5 and we lost all power, rotor arm spun on dizzy shaft. That meant we had to sit out stage 6 and spectate from sea wall so with 2 stage maximums we went out to play in 7 but to no avail as we stopped mid stage again! A few beers was enjoyed in the evening and even with all the hassles we could laugh about the trials of the day. From the state of some of the retirements I am not sure they can do the same!! Nice to have met Geoff in the morning and have a wee manta chat!
