1900SR
Kay was visiting Retro Power I think, so I'd say it was her hatch.
Jack
Kay is the only person I know with an orange Manta so I would say it was hers and I know she has it booked into Retropower for a paint job soon I think?
DiMarco
Yeah that would be kay. But give it a month or so and she wont be the only orange Manta out there

manta88
Thanks for the reply's chaps, it would have been nice to have spotted it myself as I've not seen a Manta for years on the roads, apart from going to shows.

How good is that! Mind you, the person who owns it might not be selling it for another 18 months yet! We will meet up and go for a cruise with our Manta's when the time comes. Cheers, Jack. I know exactly what you mean you never see them on the road anymore do you? This orange Manta that your friend saw was one of the only Manta's at Billing with it's original factory sunroof open! I was really surprised to see it because you never see them open.

I open my roof regularly Jack, my kids insist on it when they're in the car. Mind you, it was completely revamped by Simon P about 5 years ago, so it's not in bad order yet. Dave I was under the impression that the factory sunroofs were nearnly impossible to repair due to the design of them and the small drainage holes. The other Manta that I saw with the sunroof open belonged to someone called Doug I think who owns an immaculate and original Exclusive Coupe with less than 30k original miles and that was the only other Manta that I saw with the sunroof open. They look really smart as well with the sunroof open! Jack.

Jack
No Paul didn't notice your roof open? Have you decided on which roof to get for your baby Manta? I have just spend the day yesterday working on my friends GT/E Coupe roof and he saved his Manta from the scrapyard so it is emotional working on it in the amazing environment it is in. The roof that is in it is a sliding roof that is bigger than the original so more wind in your hair!
