Snowy
Can anyone recommend somewhere that sells oversize pistons for a 1900 CIH engine, or standard size 20E pistons. I want to rebuild the engine for the cavalier. But apart from very expensive forged items I'm not having much luck. Unless anyone has a set of second hand 20E pistons and rods. lamchop77
Snowy, think yr probably going to struggle unless it's new old stock items. I struggled to find anything, and when I did it was more expensive than forged items. Best places to look will probably be opel gt forums or some of the European tuners.
spiney_norman
I'm sure I remember Monzta saying a few years ago that if you bored the block out to take 95.5mm pistons there were some sort of Yank V8 ones that were easily available and worked well. Wish I could be more helpful!
eldoradoCoupe
Krausse-rennsport. Good to deal with and with the euro still low it works out in our favour.
611
They have some on here but as Lamchop say's there going to be expensive! http://www.krause-rennsporttechnik.de/shop/Motorenbereich/CIH/Kolben or try http://enem.se/ib.asp or even http://www.zymo-tech.de/ I did have an old set of pistons lying around but not sure if i still have them.
