jamie077366
Good question, i had trouble finding info out myself regarding spring rates for my track day manta. On ebay i came accross some 400lbs fronts and 230lbs rear that were described as serious fast road/track day use, they were however waaaaaay to soft on track. they felt pretty firm on the road but as you know on track its completely different. philip
i know you need 550 in the front but no one seems to know about the back
Kevin Abbott
I had heard the 240lb figure quoted around but as above now they maybe too soft. Try and ask Jock Ramsey whats on his hill climb car
mantasrme
Many years ago i had some 800lbs front springs that were used on a rally car. But that must have been with seriously smooth roads, or track. Never did fit them, mainly because i like my spine the shape it is. I've had a look in the ascona 400 build manual and i can't find any mention of spring specs at all.
philip
i was thinking somewhere in the region of 280lbs should be fine
