rayjen2k
Might be a silly question, but I'm picking up a manta 1.8 Berlineta this weekend that's been dry stored for a few years. i intend to fit a timing belt kit with a new water pump, and new plugs and leads. my question is, where is the best place to buy quality kits. TheRealExile
Try Retroparts, they might be able to help, can't comment on the quality as haven't used them yet, but plan to do the same fairly soon, let me know how you get on Also seems to be some on Ebay, £35.20 for a belt and pump! rayjen2k
Thanks for that. I think I'll try retroparts first. I never seem to have much luck with eBay bits.
spiney_norman
Always worth checking local motor factors. Halfords won't have a clue, but we keep plenty of Manta service items on the shelf where I work.

robah
Online shops like GPS, vauxhall-car-parts & Autovaux might be able to assist.

rayjen2k
Just a quick update. Ended up passing a small privately owned motor factors in feltham. They had everything I needed that day. Really nice old couple working at it. Might sound a bit sad, but I always feel happier giving money for an item to the smaller business like that.
andyc
Always good to have a relationship with your local factor as they will be the ones who will go a bit further to help you out if you need that odd parts Andy
