plumster
Is it a pain to change door handles?
andyc
Only fiddly bin is getting the clip from behind the window winder handle. Make sure the glass is right up, remove the door card and use a 1/4" drive 10mm socket on an extension.Undo the two nuts and pop the handle out. Kevin Abbott
Make a note of the way the handle rod crosses the latch rod, get them wrong and you have to take it all out again. One of the 10mm nuts is a right PITA to get to

mantasrme
Get a 10mm ratchet spanner and it makes the rear nut on the handle a lot easier to get to.
plumster
Sorted, right about the one behind the window guide, it is a bit of a pig, anyhow all drivers side done now, all trim replaced & bodywork polished before fitting. plumster
Drivers side finito, carpets back in, even the drivers seat so next step I whack some wheels on, spin it round & start the other side. Even managed to sort out the Ceegar lighter whuch hasn't worked for 20 years or more. Edited October 8, 2016 by plumster
