They can usually be freed up with a LITTLE heat or a small amount of wd.dont go overboard thou or they will become too free .they are obviously designed to be stiff so they don’t move in service.

mine were rounded and seized. I welded a 19mm nut over them and cooled them immediately.been fine now for 20 years since !

Looks like they are held in with a circlip, but there are two notches, and they wont budge.

Other complaint was 17mm nut face is abit goosed, good idea, i can file them down to allows 17mm nut to be welded over stub, thanks!

Wonder how they where fitted, beats me! Take it they are not availble new.
