Anyone got a 1600 CIH crankshaft for sale?

I will take a short motor or complete engine?

Thanks

Whats the preference for a 1.6 crank? Just interested.

A better crank for tuning compared to the 2L item.

How? Why, and it what way? Seen plenty dumped, is the 19 same as 2.0s / e.

Different counter weights so revs better, especially at higher rpm.

Reason i asked was i have a manta b 1.6, before i restored it, it came with poly windows, bucket seats and harness, bit weird i thought! Then thought maybe it had a xe in, saab turbo, but all was original, when it came to strip down, no body mods, no butchering, very original undamaged car, and never damaged or repaired.

I think there is something done to the engine but cant figure out why someone would modify a cih 1.6, and its the original block, maybe its had head work, bigger valves etc, it is quick, had it at 115, which is weird for a 1.6, 4sp, original axle. Such a weird wee car, tdi vw racer!  Running original solex carb.  Must check my engine bank for 1.6 blocks.

Don't forget you can bore the 1600 to 1900 so it may have been bored out.
