numbersix
Could anybody help me? I have built a 400 replica out of an 88 Exclusive. Full kit, bonnet etc. Vented front discs and up rated callipers. Carlton GSI engine and box. Compomotive ML's. MOT and Taxed. Looks, sounds and goes very well. BUT its time to sell and I haven’t a clue what to ask for it! It cost allot to build, more than I would get I suspect. Any ideas. love to attach a picture, but don't know how!! If anybody wants to look at some pictures just send me your address. Thanks for listening

smiffy220
That looks nice, I'd like one like that, but have no cash! There was one for sale in Ireland under the Cars for Sale section recently looking just as nice, was up for just over £6k. No idea if it sold for that though! 0peli400
if it had an XE it most probs would be worth 6k if its done right, with that engine and if the work has been done well with no rot etc its worth £4,500-5,

i240 Dan
Looks like a nice car. I would agree with the 5-6k mark. But I think it greatly depends on the quality of the 400 kit and how well it has been fitted. Why the i240 badges? Dan

After I come back from Billing I will put on Pistonheads for £6500 and leave at that for a few months, see what happens. Thanks for the opinions. Devil Fish
Lovely looking 400r there and 24v to boot... the blended rear arches are a bit of a no no and the i240 stickers a bit bizarre... but its got to be worth around £5-6K going on past sales. However, you may find in the current economic climate that you may have to take less to get a sale.... this is of course unless some Irish chap with loads of money comes along... as they usually do

Devil Fish
oh absolutley, and I wasn't slagging it off... I did after all say "lovely looking" in fact it's gorgeous. as for my "interests", that is very much tongue in cheek! I did after all say "lovely looking" as for my "interests", that is very much tongue in cheek! You did in deed, and I didn't think you where slagging it off, just pointing out that a no no is a matter of opinion. We both have wannabe 400's, that's a no no to an original owner. However we have a Manta and that makes us special people P.s I had a group B 400 9 years ago.

numbersix
I'm away from the car for a couple of days, will post some on my return. Ta for asking. I haven't forgot, just not been hear the car. When I said the I240 has been removed, I only meant the numbers, not the stripes. I have a picture of the car with the old Exclusive wheels on and without any decals. I wonder if I should remove and get some black MO's?? How the hell do I put pictures on?????????????
