Shug
Thats a higher number than my chassis no which is not tax exempt. (early jan 73 ) If performance doesn't worry you, you could just have your head converted to unleaded.

Shug
Windscreen rubbers are available from dr manta or ps autoteil in Germany. I got the ps autoteil ones and the fit is pretty good.

doveyte2800
Hi, Just been reading the other replies, so I thought i'd check something. Dont forget its not when it got its plates but when its built. Our car has a chassis no of 5999210.. and is tax exempt. Dont give up, i know its not an opel but i have a triumph that was plated in august 1973 but was built in november 1972! monzta
You could do a 2,0 OHC 8 valve (130bhp) for the car, and later it would be easy to throw in a c20xe
