If you have the cash for bodies go for it. Carbs are always a compromise. I had a Viva HC with an XE on R1 carbs and cant complain about them, good sound, power and economy.

I now have an XE with the SBD taper jenveys on and its night and day. The engine really screams, starts very well from cold and has good throttle response from low down.

The Vivas gone now but the XE is going in my manta.

To answer your question, the QED DTH bodies will go in a Manta with the short trumpets to clear the servo. The wiring isnt an issue as its a closed system, needing only a few wires connecting to the car. When you order you can specify a RWD loom which will come with all the connectors in the right place and the ECU will go in the drivers footwell. Thats with the DTA ecu and the raychem loom.

Scott.
