waveydavey
I have just joined. Had my first Manta back in 1991, sold my last one in 1996 T&T for £100!! my how times have changed! Just paid £1200 for similar. I wanted a totally practical classic that I could use anytime and go anywhere, there was only one option. I had a string of Fords back in the day but always got tired of fuel consumption, they where always so thirsty and everybody had one.

waveydavey
Hi, the days are drawing out now so there's no excuses apart from my terrible memory, I am a mechanic of 30 years and have probably forgotten more than I remember about Mantas/Cavaliers, just one of those cars I always liked. I got a gt so It would be easier to redtop. The car is up and running std at the mo although it's not taxed, the redtop is on the bench partially done, I've just sold a millstone project and hoping to speed things up now I've got some space and cash.
