Snowy
Is a manifold like this worth it on the CIH engine?? Has anyone bought one and fitted it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191112846078?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
spiney_norman
Got a mild steel tubular manifold on my coupe, only reason being that when my back box fell off years ago I couldn't get hold of a standard box quickly and the complete system came up cheap. Don't know if you'll see much gain on a standard engine but it looks pretty and now I want one
paulmanta
It looks nice but expect performance loss, GM actually got the CIH manta Manifold right in terms of flow and scavenging. The cast is good for heat soak and has a cooling effect on that area of the engine too. A grass track racer I once knew said his cars ran hotter and had less "go" when he tried different manifolds.
andyc
And i've an odd feeling thats a LHD manifold Andy
rutts
You need a frontera 2.4 cast manifold mated up to 2inch down pipes long as possible before going into a good 2 1/2 system with two silencer boxes. Best set up unless over 200bhp .
lamchop77
Check out martelius manifolds, they are the best for CIH motors.
