ascona i2000
Hi, wondering if anybody can help? I race an Ascona b and want to turn it in to a i2000 replica. Now I know these were homologated fir group 2 but I believe they were also homologated for group 1 aswell. Details on this are very thin on the ground. If anybody could help at all that would be great, as it the group 1 road I want to go down. thanks in advance.
MANTAMAN
There perhaps will not be many, if any people in the UK who can help you but..... If you spoke with Rainer Manthay in Germany he might be able to help, he has witten the deffinative book on the Manta B and has a lot of knowledge of 70's & 80's Opels. he speaks very good English, this is his e-mail address - Rainer.manthey@t-online.de If he can not help you he would probably be able to point you in the dirrection of someone who can. mantadoc
Question folks, is this a specific car project thread or more appropriate in either Basic tech help? If it doesn't have a car build in it soon it looks more like a request for info.
