¢ordy$hine
I hope your all enjoying your Mantas on this lovely summers Bank Holiday period. I recently bought a new gear stick gaiter for my five speed getrag gearbox. I would be greatful if someone could shed some light or wisdom to help me. Cheers. Jessopia74
A type of spring/circlip tucked up in the shaft that needs to be pried out. Push down to compress rubber and take the pressure of the circlip.
¢ordy$hine
Thank you for a reply so fast. Still not sure where you mean the circlup is located? Have you a diagram or anything that might help me. Cheers buddy.

Mike.
Twist and pull method is a 50/50 chance of success, the method of removing the circlip which is located under the old rubber gaiter splits the gear leaver in half with the gear knob still attached to the top part and intact which is probably the best method.
