cam.in.head
hi to all. just a quick confirmation from other prople if possible. all my cars (cav mk1 )use the same length front anti roll bar post.with a bolt length (inc head) of 170mm .ive checked also on some spares in shed too. ive just bought some off ebay but they arrived as 190mm.this will bring the top of the rod quite near the upper arm. ive sent the seller a message anyway but can anyone confirm / agree or note what the longer ones may be from ? ? H-400
My old used set is 170mm with head, the new set from Edelschmiede is 175mm. Both sets have a tube of 75mm.

Lots of other Vauxhall cars of the same age had the same mounting system. But the length changed to suit the car. He probably hasn't done it on purpose but sold you a set from another car. Just cut it down and use it.

Hi mate, I found the same as you when I bought a set off Ebay when I overhauled my front suspension. I did what Snowy suggested and simply cut the tubes down before fitting. I also seem to recall reducing the length of the bolts so there wasn't a stupid amount of excess thread visible after fitting the nuts. I dont remember if they were the bolts that came with the kit though, or just some Stainless ones I had spare in the garage.
cam.in.head
if the seller wont swap them il just get some stainless 170mm bolts as the only problem cutting the 190mm ones down is that they are only threaded at the last bit. thanks mate for reply 8 hours ago, Snowy said: Lots of other Vauxhall cars of the same age had the same mounting system.
